Bart

Hello,

My husband and I adopted Butter (now known as Bart) on April 22, 2011. This was my husband's birthday and was a month after losing our kitty (Jane) of 14 years. We noticed that our three-year-old cat Lisa was upset and lonely, so we made the decision that we need to bring home a kitty for us to love and her to play with. Bart is the fluffy Maine Coon on the left and Lisa is the pretty kitty on the right in the picture. (Yes...that Bart and Lisa.) Bart is an extremely playful kitty with loads of energy. He was seven months old when we adopted him, but if you look at him you would think he was older. He loves to play "the claw" where he attacks your hand but never bites hard or scratches you. When he's not being a spazz or playing with Lisa, he loves to cuddle.

Whether it's just lounging on the couch next to you or sleeping in bed with you, he is a wonderful kitty. Bart has brought lots of laughs, love and happiness into our lives. We thank you, MHHS, for all you do. Thank you to the entire staff and volunteers of MHHS!
