Bella

Hi, my name is Bella, short for Bellatrix, and I was adopted seven months ago. I was very shy and skittish at first and would not leave my bedroom for a couple weeks, then I began to explore a couple more rooms. I did not like my sister (Callie) and it took me four months before I finally began to trust her and allowed her to share a bed with me, but still was very wary. I took a little while to warm up to my parents as well. After a few months, I gained the courage to explore my entire home upstairs and downstairs, and now love joining my parents for cuddles every evening and night. I guess you could say I get along with my sister as I love to tease her to play and run away to spots where she can see me but can't reach me. Once in a while we lay together, but I still remain cautious when she has too much energy.

We were nervous at first Bella wouldn't warm up and be a happy kitty, but with a little time and patience, she has warmed right up and become part of our little family. Bella loves to talk and knock items over, knock her toys down the stairs to chase them at odd hours of the morning, and loves to lay beside us for cuddles and just to be around us. She has won over our hearts and we are looking forward to a long life with her.
