Gretchen

Three days after we lost our first dog, Boo, in 2007 (Boo was an MHHS alumna of 1999), we were back at the Humane Society looking for another dog. We adopted Gretchen. A year later we decided Gretchen needed a companion. So we went back to the Humane Society to get a dog for our dog: Sadie (formerly Babs). Sadie is half the size of Gretchen so we tell people we have one and a half dogs. Both dogs were strays, Gretchen from Petersburgh and Sadie from Albany.

We're including three pictures - Boo is by the fence, Sadie in her bed and Gretchen doing her imitation of a mountain lion on top of her dog house.
