Jake

I went to the Humane Society to drop off extra towels and blankets on 3/30/09. Buddy just looked at me through the kennel fence and I couldn't help but fall for him. We went outside to play and I called my boyfriend. It took an hour, but I finally convinced him to allow a dog into our home. He couldn't help but fall for Buddy too. Our handsome Buddy is now "Jake" and has adjusted wonderfully to living with us and two birds. He's a great companion for camping and hiking, but his favorite is going swimming. Jake doesn't know he's a big dog, so if we say "lap dog," we've learned to be prepared for a big dog hug! And he has a very diverse appetite: he ate a brick one day and a stick of butter the next. I've since learned to pick up everything and keep the counter clear. Did I mention how handsome Jake is? Such a great dog...wouldn't trade him for the world! Jake will always be my buddy!
