Libby

Hi everyone!

We adopted Libby (previously Lady) from MHHS in September and she has proven to be a wonderful dog for our family. She's grown a few inches and put on a few pounds since then, but still acts like a happy puppy.

It was only by chance that we happened to stop by the shelter to see about adopting a dog. We had gotten our cat Jeni there a few years before, and knew what a wonderful job the shelter did at taking care of all the animals.

Libby was only at the shelter a few days before we showed up and fell in love with her immediately. All she wants to do is play, which sometimes the kitty doesn't like, but they've learned to get along. She loves running in our yard, and is an expert at catching a Frisbee. She's a big clown who always makes us laugh, trying to catch snowflakes or playing with the hose outside. She greets everyone with lots of kisses, and especially loves children. She's a fast learner and went to pit bull training class sponsored by the Save-a-Bull program to help with her manners, and she even has learned a few tricks. She's also made a few new doggy friends at daycare. Everyone who meets her falls in love with her!
