Nikita

I want to say "hi" to all the lovely people at the shelter! Nikita (the blonde and black dog in the pictures) has turned into the most wonderful dog. She has come out of her shell and enjoys life so much. Nikita loves to play with my other dog, Zine, whom I adopted from the Animal Protective Foundation. They love to play and sleep together, as well as chase each other around the yard. It is so great to watch what Nikita has developed into! Every time we go to the vet (Chatham Small Animal Hospital...what a wonderful place!), the vet comments about how well she is doing. The vet thinks she is a German Shepherd/Husky mix. Nikita also loves my kitty! When the dogs are playing the kitty tries to join in; it is so funny to watch.

Zine, Kyle and I want to thank you so much for giving us a new friend! We love Nikita so much. Zine is especially happy. He loves playing with other dogs and now he has a best friend for life. One day when we get a bigger place we can't wait to adopt more from the shelter. Shelter dogs are the BEST!!!

Thank you so much, Mohawk Hudson! We love you. The staff was extremely friendly and a lot of fun. Nikita has come home!
