Quigly

Back in September, we adopted Quigly after going to the shelter in hopes of finding a dog. After looking at all of the dogs, and not really seeing one that could fit our needs as four girls living in an apartment, we were about to leave the shelter when the woman helping us told us about a Chihuahua mix that was kept in a separate room due to his aggression toward other dogs. We were hesitant at first, but immediately decided to give him a shot after learning that he lived at the shelter for six months and was even returned once.

A couple months later, we are absolutely in love with our pet! Although we are still working on his leash obedience, he loves to go on long walks. Quigly even learned to get along with other dogs and currently has a couple of playmates that he sees regularly, including a German Shepherd with whom he is inseparable! Even though he is high strung and wild at times, he is the perfect companion for a couple of young girls who have the patience and tolerance to deal with him.

We are so very grateful that the Humane Society was able to help us find the perfect pet, but more than anything, we are so very grateful that we could give a loving home and a family to an innocent soul who went without it for so long. Thank you!
