Rufio
I adopted Rufio three months ago. In the shelter he appeared to be a shy boy. When he first arrived home, he continued to be shy as he hid under the bed and in the corner of the bathroom. Once he got settled in, he became anything but shy - he runs around like he owns the place and became very vocal. He loves playing with his toy mice, watching (and teasing) the fish in the fish tank and protecting me from the "evil" vacuum. He plays rough, but also kisses any boo-boos better. He loves to cuddle and sleeps in my arms every night. While watching TV at night he will sit on my lap, lick my nose and give me little love bites. When it's time for everyone to come home from work, he waits in the window and talks to all our neighbors as they enter the building. All my family and friends have fallen in love with Rufio too. Thank you so much, MHHS, for helping me find such a great friend.
