Teak

Hello, I just wanted to thank you. I adopted a 3-year-old female Spaniel/Chow mix in March 2001. Her name was Teak. She became my and my children's "best friend" -- loyal, playful, loving and everything else you could possibly want in a pet. She was ferociously protective of us and our home and just loved her belly rubs! She was the best....and I am so glad I found her there at the Society.

Teak passed away on 6/23/10. She was 13 years old. I miss her terribly as she became a real companion. I even took her on long-distance vacations with me; she loved to ride in the car!

Thank you for the services you make available and for the genuine care you give to the animals. Teak was a happy, healthy dog for many years.and I know you gave her a GREAT start.

I'm attaching a picture of "my girl" and of her memorial. I so loved her...and will return to the Society soon to see if you might have another pet for us to love. Thank you again, for all you do!
