Yoruichi
I adopted Yoruichi, meaning "night one" in Japanese, from MHHS in November when she was four months old. It was just one day after my beloved cat of seven years, Jinxy, passed away from cancer. Sad and completely devastated after losing my best friend, I decided to drive to the Humane Society just to casually browse. As I walked into the adoption room, Yoruichi was the first cat I saw and it was love at first sight. I looked at the other cats too, but something kept telling me to keep my eye on her. Not only did she resemble my other cat, but she was instantly friendly and beautifully taken care of. She was placed into my arms and instantly started purring. I knew she was mine. I adopted her that day. It's been such a beautiful friendship since. I've only had her for a month so far, but she is such a loving, sweet, comforting little angel! I already have begun to spoil her and she sleeps next to me at night and follows me everywhere. Her favorite thing to do is to chase her green mouse around or run from one room to the other. She has helped me with the healing process and I love her so much. Thank you, MHHS!!!
